Do I need experience or some minimum level of fitness?
No. Our workouts and exercises scale to any level. We’ve had everyone from eighty-five-year-old grandmothers to morbidly obese people, and they’ve all been fine. You will too.
I have/had an injury. Can I still do CrossFit?
Many of our members have successfully used CrossFit to rehabilitate from minor injuries. Because people continue to move, work, and play in the real world regardless of injury history, we believe the best route to long-term health is to learn perfect form on functional movements, then to slowly build strength in those movements, rather than to avoid them altogether. At the same time, our instructors are always happy to work with you to scale and substitute exercises, to tailor workouts to your abilities. That said, we cannot offer you specific medical advice, and advise that you consult your physician before starting this (or any other) exercise program.
How do I start?

I’m really fit and would like to skip the workshop class and come to the Workout of the Day class, can I do that?
No. There are no drop-ins to the regular classes. You must complete our CrossFit Fundamentals before being allowed to take classes.
But what if I’m really, really fit?
No means no. If you are really, really fit, we can scale up the workouts in the workshop and introductory workouts for you.
Will CrossFit make me bulky?

I’m just visiting Caldwell, but I am an experienced CrossFitter visiting from another affiliate. Can I come workout?
We welcome experienced CrossFitters from all over. Please give us a heads up of your visit by emailing (firstname.lastname@example.org) us so that we can advise you of our schedule. Note that there is a drop in fee of $20.
I have relocated from another area or have moved into your neighborhood. Can I visit and start classes?
As mentioned above, any experienced CrossFitter is welcome to attend one of our regular, all levels classes. Before allowing you to skip the Fundamentals Class, you’ll need to be able to exhibit good knowledge and safety in the basics of CrossFit. You do not have to be a superstar, but you do need to know the movements and how to perform them safely.
How much does the Fundamentals Class cost?
Fundamentals is now included in your first months membership. It includes 3 1-on-1 sessions that you can schedule at your convenience.
What does the Fundamentals Class cover?
We’ll be coaching you in several aspects. Including CrossFit philosophies, nutrition, body weight exercises, the slow lifts (squat, deadlift and press), metabolic conditioning (a.k.a. “MetCon”), olympic lifting (clean, jerk, snatch). We’ll also be ramping you up to the intensity of our normal all levels WOD classes.
Do you take credit cards, cash, and personal checks?
Yes, we accept them all an we can provide a printed and/or emailed receipt.
Can I sign up for membership online through your website?
No, but you can call us and we can do it over the phone. 1-800-XXX-XXXX. Or you can sign up in person. *If you are planning to sign up before class please come in 20 minutes prior to start time.
