Shred is a HIIT (high intensity interval training) class that uses cardio movements such as rowing, running and jump rope, followed by a combination of intervals using dumbbells, kettle bells and body weight. Every class is different and the interval formats rotate to offer a constantly varied program keeping it fun challenging. Classes are made up of alternating periods of intense anaerobic exercises and periods of recovery which drops your heart rate down to 50% of its max. High intensity interval training has proven to increase endurance and improve fat burning resulting in a stronger, faster, and leaner physique.
SHRED is for everyone. You select your weights and set your pace. Our approach to exercise keeps your body burning calories long after your workout is over, and Crossfit Caldwell is the only studio of its kind in Essex County.
To get started with the M.C. SHRED we recommend attending a class.
